Simeon
Jacob’s second son through Leah. Simeon was known for his impulsive nature. The tribe of Simeon settled in the southern region of Israel, within the territory of Judah.

Levi
Jacob’s third son through Leah. The tribe of Levi did not receive a specific territory like the other tribes. Instead, they were appointed as priests and caretakers of the tabernacle and later the temple in Jerusalem.

Judah
Jacob’s fourth son through Leah. Judah’s tribe held significant importance as it was from the lineage of Judah that the Davidic kings and ultimately Jesus Christ were descended. They settled in the southern region of Israel, including Jerusalem.

Dan

Naphtali
